June & Potty Trained

We have had such a fun and busy summer. Summer weddings keep me crazy busy with flowers so we have had to work hard and play hard. 

(This is probably way more pictures than anyone cares to see...sorry!)

We have had lots of trips to our favorite park with our favorite boyfriend. Can these two please get married one day?

We went to the Lindon pool which is beyond amazing!! I highly recommend making the trek. It was my first time at the pool with my mom or Dave helping me so things were a little chaotic. This was the only picture I got!

We also went with morgs and annie to the pepperwood pool

This little princess is growing up fast! She now rolls front to back and back to front!! She is also starting to grab things and hold her bottle a little

A bought this little pool for Elsie on days we stay home. It was the best purchase ever... $20 shipped form target. She loves it and so do all her little neighbor friends

We finally got to see our favorite cousins! Rachel, Max and Carly were so cute to take Elsie to play with the ducks! She was in heaven!

Elsie had her first visit to the Dentist and LOVED it! They were so great. I highly recommend Burg Pediatric dentists. They were great and she got a little cape!

Last but not least our most important accomplishment of June....

SHE IS POTTY TRAINED!!

WAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

worst three days/ week of my life! I wanted to die every day and we had our fair share of nightmares in public restrooms but she did AMAZING! After a week and a half was telling she needed to go potty, two weeks no accidents for a week and got her Minnie Scooter and now she is a pro and tells me every time or goes on her own! So proud of Elsie girl! She is the best! Next time though I might pay someone because she did extremely well and I still wanted to run away!

Lilly is 4 Months

                

                                         

We are a few days late but this little angel is now 4 months! I can't believe we are already at 4 months! This is the beginning of my favorite stage! I love newborns and I am sad she is leaving that age but this is when it gets so fun!

At Four Months Lilly...

Has found her hands and loves them

Is starting to get a bottom tooth we think

Loves to growl

Loves to talk back to you

Loves to bounces and kick her little legs

Loves to be sung to, especially the Doc McStuffins song

Is so smiley in the morning

Loves to play with her big sister

Loves walks

Is still a funny little eater

Loves her swing

Has out grown her reflux! Oh happy day!

Has gotten so so happy and content

Gives the sweetest smiles and her whole face lights up

Has rolled over from back to front

Father's Day 2012

Elsie and Lilly have the best daddy in the whole world in my opinion! We were so excited to show him just how much we love him on Father's Day. Elsie helped me write all the cards for Dave, my dad and Dav'es dad. She told me what to say for her and Lilly and they were the sweetest things ever. We made Dave a special Peaches and Cream french toast and then that night we went over to my moms for a bbq and Daves favorite... chocolate cake and lime freezes. We are so lucky to have Dave in our lives. He is such a great example to us. He reminds us to always stay positive, always remember to laugh and your self, serve others, always be friendly and think of others! We are also so lucky for our Grandpas. They are also such great examples of hard work and loving the outdoors! Happy Fathers Day!!

Sweet Little Lilly's Blessing

Today we blessed Lilly and it was such a special day. There is something about those tiny sweet little babies all dressed in white. Its such a humbling and spiritual experience. Dave gave her the most beautiful blessing and she was great for the whole thing! I felt such love and gratitude for the two of them!

Right after Dave sits down she naturally has a blow out IN HER DRESS! I could have died. My mom and I took her home to get her changed and clean the dress. We got it pretty clean and dry and I meant to change her back into it but things got going and it never happened! Oh well! She still had the shoes and headband I guess and she looked beautiful! We had close friends and family over to our house afterwards to share Lilly's special day.
