End of July

I am so behind on everything, but I wanted to get these pictures up of the past few weeks. Elsie is growing up so fast I can hardly believe it, she will be 6 months next week! It is already going by too fast! Here is what our little munchkin has been up to... (There are really so many pictures, I still feel the need to capture her every move, feel free to stop looking at about picture 85...)

My parents are slightly obsessed with Elsie to say the least and luckily she loves them! They are always willing to watch her and it honestly saves me! They have watched her almost every day the past week while I have been helping Dave get ready for the Parade of Homes. They are life-savers!

We went to lunch with my sister and my good friend Natalie. It was Elsie's first time meeting Nat and she loved her!

Elsie was wearing these overalls and I went over to Morgan's for a second. Hadley asked me what Elsie was wearing... I said they are her work clothes!
We are teething over at our house... but nothing has come through yet! Those dang teeth! most of the time she is fine but every few days she wakes up from her naps like this! Poor thing!
Elsie and Avery planned a play date with their new friend Asher Peterson.
From the looks of this picture Elsie sure had a fabulous time!
We finally went to the pool with cousin Brooklyn. It was so hot outside that after swimming the girls played like this...

We went to the Farmers Market downtown with Ash, my Mom and my Grandpa
Elsie aka Curly Sue...

I think this is the funnies picture! She is always cracking my up lately.
I have been doing away with the swing lately and she did fine for about 2 weeks. Then we had a crazy few days and she hardly got any naps. One afternoon she would not go down to sleep and kept fussing. Finally after like an hour I threw my hands up and put her in the swing. She looked up at me with the biggest smile on her face, snuggled up to the little pillow and fell asleep instantly. This is how I found her when she woke up...
Happy as a clam! She loves that thing!
And check out that hair..
Later that night she kept being fussy (dang teeth), all she wanted to do was be held. I put her in the baby bjorn and of course she had a blast... juat look at her face
For Dave's mom's birthday we dressed the girls in matching outfits that she gave them. These two little stinkers make it so hard to take pictures of the two of them. This was the best we got..
Happy Birthday Grandma Michele!
This little girl (or should we call her Wanda) prefers to see the world through her rose colored glasses

We loves our little princess
We went to Natalie Farley's baby shower! Yay for little girls.. we can't wait for Elsie to have a new friend. The theme was "Feather her Nest" and Kimberly of course did a darling job!

Happy 24th of July!!

4th of July Weekend

4th of July this year was so great! Much better than last year (think hot dessert heat, pregnant, the cabin...need I say more). Dave had the whole weekend off and we loved every minute of it. Friday afternoon we headed up to Dave's family cabin in Oakley with Dave's parents, Mike and Traci, Ryan and Frances, and Carly and Tommy. We had KFC which I had not had in like ten years but I must say their grilled chicken is pretty tasty, then we headed off to the Rodeo. I was loaded up on Claritin (I am deathly allergic to horses and hay) so it was perfect! Elsie was so good considering it started at 8 which is her bed time. She took a nap on my lap which was amazing and then she woke up for the fireworks and she loved them! The next few days we just hung out at the cabin with baby Brooklyn, went on four-wheelers and walks, the Burbidges came up, Eric was home for the weekend and of course we ate, ate and ate, oh and Dave went shooting, of course.
It was the prefect weekend and exactly what we needed! We came home Monday morning and headed off to the pool. It was short-lived considering Miss Elsie girl was exhausted and the heat made everything a million time worse. But it was still fun to get out and do stuff with Dave.

Now here are a boat load of pictures of the weekend...
(I don't know if you can tell I only have one child and feel the need to document her every move)

When we were walking into the arena Elsie had her sunglasses on while in the bjorn, people were cracking up and she thought it was pretty funny

Elle is obessed with food lately. She wants to eat whatever I am drinking or eating and this weekend she decided it was Coke. Dave wanted to give her some...I said no

Her first piggie back ride...
I love this picture!!
