San Francisco

Can I start out by saying that I love love love this city! I seriously would move there in a heart beat but thats not in the cards so we settle for visits! My brother has lived there the last six years and this year we went for his wedding!!!

Here we are checking our stuff. It was insane how much we needed for Elsie
She did so good on the plane! Luckily it was only and 1 1/2 hour flight, but she slept for most of it and was happy when she was awake!

We arrived late Thursday night and went straight to bed. The next morning my mom, sister and I headed straight to the salon to get mani/pedi's. They are so cheap there and they are great!! I love that you walk every where.
My dad rented a place on VRBO and it was right across the street from Ghiradelli square by the wharf so we had great views from the balcony
Ash and Chad
(who got engaged right before we left!)

Elsie was such a sport the whole time. This was basically how she lived the entire week-in her stroller while we dragged her around
It was so fun to see Kimberly! She was there for Alex's internship and we saw her the day before she left!!
Ghirardelli Square
Friday night we had the rehearsal for the wedding. Kaen's cute nieces Lyla and Katana loved Elsie. They always wanted to play with "baby Elasie" and she loved them right back
Friday while we went to the rehearsal and did the flowers Dave and Chad went to the Giants game. This was what he came back with for Elsie
Saturday was the wedding in Crockett and it was beautiful! Kaen and her family worked so hard and they pulled off such a fun wedding

My dad married them and he did such a good job
During the reception we changed into traditional Lao clothing and did traditional dances
we loved it, it was so much fun

We went to the cutest little tea salon and they even brought out some things for Elle

We love love love Bob's donuts, especially late at night when they are hot from the grease

Of course we had so so much fun in San Francisco. The shopping and food was amazing, I was able to take on taxis with my mom, Elsie and her car seat and stroller, Dave and I got Thai massages that were amazing, we had so much fun with Kaen and Tallis, we went to the beaches in Marin, my dad took Elies 6 month pictures at Chrissy Fields, and I was able to go to all my favorite places!
My parents were so nice and attempted to take Elsie home with them a day early so Dave and I could stay just the two of us. Of course I cried and cried but I was excited to have a morning to sleep in. A few hours later they called and said their flight had been canceled. It turned into a mess, Elsie had a melt down at security, and they had to stay at a hotel by the airport with her
overnight. Luckily they got on our same flight so we all meet up in the morning and all was well!

Overall it was a successful trip and so fun to get away!!
