Dave's 33

Holy cow my husband is old... just kidding!! I love Dave's birthday because its one of the only birthdays in our family where its actually warm outside. Elsie was so excited to celebrate Daddy O's birthday she could hardly wait! We started out the day by taking him to breakfast at Kneaders. After Elsie instead on getting him balloons and they had to be green because "boys like green" she said. Then we picked up his birthday cake which btw was the BEST cake I have ever had. It was a chocolate raspberry cake from One Sweet Slice. So good! When Dave got home from work we headed up to his parents for a birthday bbq celebration! The little girls had a blast with all the birthday decor and Elsie loved singing happy birthday to her daddy! It was such a fun and special day! 

Mothers Day 2012

I had the best Mother's Day this year! Dave went to great lengths to make it extra special. He and Elsie made me breakfast and showered me with some workout clothes. Sweet little Lilly gave me a new necklace with an "L" to go with my "E". We went to church and then had my family down for dinner. The night before we went to dinner with Dave's family and spent time with his mom. I felt so loved and blessed to be a mama to my two beautiful little girls!! My visiting teacher gave me this quote for Mothers Day and I just love it...

St. George

Dave went down to St. George this past weekend for a gold trip with friends. While he was gone we went up to my moms a lot! Elsie loves loves loves their backyard and has so much fun playing!

Then Friday afternoon Dave called and wanted us to meet him down there when the tournament ended so we harried and packed up and left with our neighbors. Elsie LOVES the water. She had to be in the water from the second she woke up to the second she went to bed. She kept getting in with her clothes on. Its a good thing she kept her life jacket on the whole time! Lilly was a sweetheart and loved her first road trip and poolside experience!

Almost Private...

I hate posts like these so I am not quite sure why I am doing it...but I hate it when people go private before I have a chance to get my email. Going Private Again

So I know at one point our blog was private but then I made it public again. Some people that I had invited still could not get access and I didn't know how to fix it so I just went public again. But I have decided to make it private again! I know its super annoying! If you have given me your email before I still have it and it should work! Spring has Sprung

The weather has been so great which means one thing for us... we have been busy outside! Elsie is my little busy girl. She loves to have her days full so we are always trying to do fun things!

Lilly is 2 Months

At Two Months are sweet little angel is:

Basically sleeping through the night (9-6:30am)

Giving lots of big smiles

Loves to coo and make "o" faces

Loves to suck on hands

Gets pretty frantic the second she decides she's hungry 

Sleeps pretty good in her crib for naps but does loves the swing as well!

Sleeps likes a champ at night in her crib

Is starting to stay awake more and is very alert and aware

Makes her mama, daddy and big sister happy all the time!

We love you baby doll!!
