Christmas 2011

Christmas was so fun this year with little Miss Elsie! She loves lights and Christmas trees and is very into Nativity's. She loves to find all the baby Jesus'. Here are a few of the highlights!

We had to make lots of last minute shopping trips and Elsie wanted to look her best! To say she is obsessed with makeup (especially lipstick) is an understatement.

We went downtown to see the lights with Daves cousins

We went to lots of Christmas parties

On Christmas Eve we went with my family out to dinner at Rodizio. It's always such a fun tradition!

When we came back Elsie's christmas jammies and books were waiting for her in her bed. She was so excited to get new jammies, minnie slippers, a new blanket and some new books!
After we left some cookies out for Santa and some carrots for the riendeer

That night Santa sure did come!! Elsie got a new pink kitchen, a dollhouse, a new baby doll and accessories, some lipstick and books! She was so excited!!

Christmas day we opened presents and then went to Dave's parents house for the morning/afternoon. That afternoon/night we went over to my parents for some more presents! By the end of the day Elsie was wondering my mom's house looking for anything she could open that resembled a present!

We hope everyone had a very  Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Festivities

We have already had so much fun this December with all the Christmas festivities! Elsie is very into Santa, Snowmen, Christmas music, her Nativity and Baby Jesus, and christmas lights! She has been so much fun that we are trying to do as much as possible!!

Festival of Trees
Elsie kept wanting to drink her baby's bottle and be covered in this dish towel

Getting ready to see Santa again..

We attempted to go and see the reindeer with Hadley and Preston but apparently 28 degrees is not cold enough for them to be out

Elsie and her new Snow White doll

This is Elsie's christmas tree in her room. She LOVES it!!

One night we made a gingerbread house. Elsie of course loved it and did better than I thought she would! She got a little crazy at the end but we managed to put together a pretty good house.

We attempted to see the reindeer again and were successful!

After we drove through the lights at Thanksgiving Point!

Thanksgiving and a few randoms...

This year for Thanksgiving we headed down to Scottsdale again to see Dave's cousins. It is one of my favorite trips so we were so excited to go down! Elsie had so much fun seeing everyone especially the girls, Rachel and Carly. She still keeps talking about how they are at dance or sleeping!! I hardly got any pictures but here are a few we did get...

Here is a little video of Elsie sending out some Thanksgiving love

Here she is on the plane ride. We flew out Thanksgiving morning so the flight was wide open..

We took lots of naps in between all of our shopping

Elsie and Max played the piano all day long

The was the flight home from you know where... crowded airport, over packed bags, and a hungary and tired baby...

On another note Elsie has been obsessed with "owwies" lately. She thinks she always needs a band-aid. The other day she came up to me with a band-aid already on. This is what she had been working on in the hallway. She did a pretty good job if you ask me!

And look at this picture!! She looks like a teenager!!! She is growing up way to fast!!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Elsie met Santa a few weeks ago. It didn't go horribly but it didn't go without a few hiccups.  Luckily she has since seen him again and they are now friends!!!
